Corel 7 has neat features, including the interactive Transparency tool, and bitmap plug-ins build right in!
Start with rectangle, filled with a texture fill, and use the bevel feature found in the extrude tool.
Use the same extrude tool, using extrude, bevel and shading on a text object.
Save the marble base objects as Corel 5 and re-import.
This will separate the bevel group, and keep the shading in each piece.
Now duplicate and offset the text pieces, sending one behind the marble base object.
The Interactive transparency tool allows you to give the marble a see-thru fill, resulting in a muted view of the far duplicate, creating a reflection illusion.

You can change this object into a bitmap directly in Draw 7, 8 or 9, and using the Kais Power Tools lens f/x, twirl it. Change the parameters to create a series of twirls, which can be animated!
