1. Start with the wire frame of your text.
2. Draw a shape around the bottom half of your text.
3. Select you text and this new shape. Use the Intersection feature to create a new set of shapes, which are the bottom half of the letters.
4. Repeat these steps to create shapes for the top half of the letters.
Create custom fills for the top and bottom shape groups for sky and earth reflections.
Experiment with line weights on the original text, using different weights and colors for highlites and shadows.
Off-set a copy of the text with a white outline for a high-lite effect.
